I'm Conrado M. Ramirez Sordo, Managing Partner and Financial Director at E27 Digital Properties (E27).
My main responsibilities at E27 include the design and execution of strategies to expand the service portfolio in Mexico, the US and LatAm. E27 is the owner, operator and marketer of the International and multicultural translation and communication firms (LSP) E27 Legal and Business Translation Services, and Colectivo de Idiomas, based in Mexico City.
My professional career began in 1995. It is driven by high business dynamism, financial sophistication, technology and changing economic cycles. I have served the Live Entertainment, Media, Food and Beverages industries in the Financing, Investor Relations, Financial Planning, Compliance, Business Communications and Corporate Governance practices.
C-Level director and manager performing strategic tasks for prominent publicly-traded LatAm companies like Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) and Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF).At these companies I acted progressively as financial analyst, treasury analyst, investor relations manager, banking communications manager, compliance officer and head of investor Relations.
Most of my expertise has been gained primarily in Mexico, Latin America and the US.I have participated in various M&A transactions, financing of business expansion through equity, rights offerings and bank/securitized debt issuances, and the definition and implementation of financial strategies. Moreover, investment project and business valuation, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting of financial statements and information to financial markets are also part of my track record.
Education and technology have been key in my career. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) in 1994, majoring in international finance and marketing. In 2008 I obtained my MBA from the IPADE Business School, with specialization in corporate finance and strategic control systems. Additional courses include digital strategy and innovation at the IESE Business School (Barcelona) and Mergers and Acquisitions at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
